One year of Jallikkattu Protest

Inferno of youth power

I was born in the year of 97. I am one among the kids out there who have been in two different centuries. From the time of my birth until I crossed over my teenage, I have only seen people complaint about the current carelessness of youngsters in India. Even the movies which I think back showcased youngsters only as like jobless aimless fellows who always runs behind a girl but not life. Only a few feel good movies tried to get in depth of youngsters mentality. But all the others blamed us for the entire degradation of the country.

But, a day came. A day where all the national media slowly turned towards us. All those complaining uncles and aunties joined among us and prayed for victory. All those so called film and political celebrities were not even allowed to join inside the protest. Where do these came from? Where were these youngsters for this long time? All those media people quarreled on their respective channels while the youngsters of தமிழ்நாடு showed the world how to protest in a proper way!
"It all started as a small spark. No one imagined it would become an Inferno"

After 5 weeks of protest against Jallikkattu Ban by PETA, the youngsters and all those people who joined hands along with them finally won against the Ban.

It is time to celebrate and remember how far we have came and we yet have a great deal of dirt to clear from our nation.

Glad that I was part of the protest and took these pics. Thank you.

Save Farmers

Are you one among the people who thinks a plastic wrapped groceries at supermarket are much fresh and healthier than at farmers' market? Or are you one among the people who thinks that farmers' market is only for poor people? Then its time to rethink! The annual suicide rate of Indian farmers are hiking by 1.8% each year while we are enjoying KFC burger paying 14.5% VAT. I am not asking you to roll up your pants and help a farmer in his field. The least thing we can do is buying our day to day groceries at a local farmers' market to support them economically. Plus there are a lot more advantages in buying groceries at a local farmers' market. Visit the following link.
As a photography enthusiastic, I really enjoyed this particular photoshoot. The amount of eagerness, childish smile they gave when faced a camera is marvellous! Smiling, despite of all pain and burden on their shoulders, is what we should learn from them! Whether these pics are good enough or not, am so proud to be a reason for their smile.😊
P.S: Forgive if any grammatical mistake✌️

Being an enthusiast in learning photography... I myself indulged in buying a small point and shoot camera. Am not rich enough to buy my all time dream professional DSLR.(I will sure get to that someday) Shot this pic with my 1st camera Nikon Coolpix P530 in auto mode. Happy with the output. Please do leave your comments. Thank you for visiting.
